Samsung Discontinues Galaxy Note Series Permanently

Samsung is not planning to bring any new model for the Galaxy Note series. According to the reports from South Korean publication ET News, there is no Galaxy smartphone launch scheduled for next year. 

Last year, Samsung has launched a new smartphone under the Galaxy Note lineup. Galaxy Note 20 was the last Note model, and it looks like it’ll be the last one.

The company has excluded the lineup from its 2022 roadmap. It has stopped production for the last Note models due to Samsung’s foldable phones line


The reports claim that the Galaxy Z Fold shipments have reached up to 13 million, and the Galaxy Note 10/20 series shipments at 12.7 and 9.7 million in 2019 and 2020.

Samsung is putting an end to Galaxy Note 20 series production by the end of this year. However, the Galaxy Note 20 devices are doing well in the market. This year, Samsung has sold Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra around 3.2 million units.
